Nothing too much trouble, we would not hesitate to return there if in Stokkseyri. Truly a QUIET hotel. A huge quadruple room was a highlight for us.

Julia, the staff person, was very helpful and friendly. the location right on the beach was a real pleasure, and we enjoyed exploring the tidal pools. the hostel had spacious common areas, a well, equipped kitchen, and a terrace on the roof with a great view.

We had a great experience staying at a wonderful and slightly nutty place on the beach. The apartment with a separate entrance had a simple but adequate kitchen, and there was no problem with internet access. The ghost walk and elf walks were a neat addition to our stay. The location right on the beach at ebb tide was a real treat. I highly recommend this place for its unique experience and beautiful surroundings.

I recently stayed at the Art Hostel in Stokkseyri for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The facility, which was once a fish factory, had a unique and spacious atmosphere. The location was great, with easy accessibility to local pool/hot tubs, art galleries, and the beautiful beach for walking. The young staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the dorm rooms were surprisingly quiet. The room itself was large and warm, with a kitchenette that had all the essentials. The lounge area was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. a wonderful and family-friendly place to stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Cool place, very strange and spacious dorm with a big table in the middle. Super equipped kitchen and nice living room. Amazing view from the bar. Great value for money!
The bathroom downstairs for showers was quite chilly in winter, and there was only one toilet near the common area which could be inconvenient. The building could use some maintenance and sprucing up.

I recently stayed at the unique and charming Art Hostel in a small Icelandic town. The hostel, part art studio and part museum, offered a warm and spacious room with a kitchenette, complete with a kettle and microwave. The friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a clear briefing about the facilities. The common areas were excellent, including a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and roof terrace. The location was perfect for exploring South Iceland, with beautiful sea views and easy access to Selfoss.
I highly recommend this hotel.
